Interior Health issues drug alert for ecstasy in Merritt

MERRITT, B.C. — Interior Health has issued a drug alert for Merritt ahead of the May long weekend.

The alert states that ecstasy (MDMA/MDA) is being sold laced with MDA and Fentanyl and those who use the drug could overdose.

The drug is identified as a beige/off-white pressed pill that crumbles easily with a lightning bolt.
