New provincial attraction grants expected to benefit Kamloops tourism, BC Wildlife Park
KAMLOOPS — To boost pandemic financial relief, the B.C. government will soon dole out $50 million for anchor tourism attractions throughout the province.
Tourism Kamloops CEO Beverley DeSantis says the funding comes as a huge relief to operators who are entering a second summer of reduced visitation and revenue.
“Operators and the attractions knew it was coming, and are hopefully prepared to submit as soon as possible to get the money in their pockets immediately.”
