Merritt woman charged for impaired driving causing bodily harm

MERRITT, B.C. — A pedestrian was struck and pinned between two vehicles in the 2100-block of Granite Avenue in Merritt back on March 13, 2021.

On scene, Merritt RCMP arrested the driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the pedestrian.

Two months later, Nina Jackson was formally charged with impaired operation causing bodily harm and operation while over 0.08 blood alcohol concentration.

Jackson is scheduled to appear in Merritt Provincial Court on Tuesday (May 18).
