Kamloops brothers identified as men found dead near Penticton

NARAMATA, B.C. — Two men found dead near Penticton Monday (May 10) were brothers from Kamloops.

In a post made to Facebook Wednesday, Gordon Fryer shares news of the deaths of his sons, Carlo and Erick Fryer.

On Monday, people hiking near the Naramata Creek Forest Service Road found the bodies of two men. Major crimes investigators are looking into the deaths.

In a news release issued Wednesday, RCMP say they have tentatively confirmed the identity of one of the two, and were awaiting confirmation of the second. A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
