Potential COVID-19 exposure at Valleyview Secondary

KAMLOOPS — A potential COVID-19 exposure transpired at Valleyview Secondary School between May 3 to 5.
Students and staff who may have been in direct contact with the COVID-positive individual are being contacted by health and school officials with further instructions. All who are not contacted are asked to attend school as normal.
According to Interior Health, the only other active potential COVID-19 exposure event in SD 73 is Chase Secondary between April 27 and 30. Exposure notices at Bert Edwards Science and Technology School, Westmount Elementary, and Kamloops School of the Arts in late April have been removed.
