Wednesday COVID-19 case count was 572 in B.C., 57 in Interior Health
VICTORIA — There are more positive signs for B.C.’s fight against COVID-19 Wednesday (May 5).
In a prepared statement, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reports 572 new cases of the virus, including 57 within Interior Health.
That brings the overall total in B.C. to 132,925 cases, spread through B.C. as follows:
- 32,562 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 118)
- 76,955 — Fraser Health (up by 362)
- 4,767 — Island Health (up by 22)
- 11,197 — Interior Health (up by 57)
- 7,250 — Northern Health (up by 13)
- 193 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
