Kamloops RCMP seek witnesses to parking lot assault

KAMLOOPS — A reported assault transpired in the Save-On-Foods parking lot on Tranquille Road in Brocklehurst Thursday evening (Apr. 29).

The victim said a man associated to a white Toyota SUV grabbed him by the throat and punched him in the head at around 7:00 p.m., before driving away.

The victim believed it was a case of mistaken identity. A woman in a red car checked on the victim afterward.

Kamloops RCMP ask the woman, or anyone who may have witnessed the assault, to contact police at (250) 828-3000 and reference file 2021-13895.
