Merritt man wanted for assault, sought by RCMP

MERRITT, B.C. — RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a Merritt man wanted province-wide for assault.

In a news release, RCMP say Richard Shaeffer is wanted for assault in connection to an incident that happened in the Merritt area on April 17.

Description:

• Indigenous
• 5’10” tall
• 160 lbs
• Black hair
• Brown eyes
