Interior Health’s chief medical health officer recommends people 30 to 50 to register through pharmacies
KAMLOOPS — As of Tuesday (May 4), anyone 52 or over who’s registered for their COVID-19 vaccine can book their appointment.
Although if people between the ages of 30 and 50 have the option to get a vaccine at a pharmacy, Interior Health Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Albert de Villiers recommends getting one as soon as possible.
“We’re not going to get [between 30 to 50] for the next few weeks with our regular campaign,” de Villiers said.
Pharmacy registration and the province’s Get Vaccinated System are still separate entities.
