WHL suspends Prince George player who knocked Connor Zary out of the Blazers lineup

KAMLOOPS —- Prince George Cougars forward Jonny Hooker has been suspended by the Western Hockey League.
The suspension is for a check to the head on Blazers captain Connor Zary in Wednesday’ 5-1 Prince George win.
It comes under supplemental discipline with the length of the suspension still to be decided.
Hooker was given a minor penalty for charging.
