Kamloops School of the Arts added to Interior Health’s COVID-19 school exposure list

KAMLOOPS — There are now three active potential COVID-19 exposure events at Kamloops schools.

Kamloops School of the Arts had a potential exposure on April 23. It joined Bert Edwards Science and Technology School (April 16 and 20) and Westmount Elementary (April 19 and 20).

Students and staff who may have been in direct contact with the COVID-positive individual are being contacted by health and school officials with further instructions.

All who are not contacted are asked to attend school as normal.

In Salmon Arm, Salmon Arm Secondary – Jackson Campus, was added for a potential exposure on April 14 and 15. Two other Salmon Arm schools – Shuswap Middle School (April 15) and Shuswap Adventist School (April 14, 15, and 16).

There are 14 relative potential school exposure events in Kelowna and three in West Kelowna.
