COVID-19 exposure found at Bert Edwards Science and Technology School in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops has its first new school exposure of COVID-19 in more than two weeks.

According to the Interior Health school exposure website, COVID-19 was present at Bert Edwards Science and Technology School on April 16 and 20.

Students and staff who may have been in direct contact with the COVID-positive individual are being contacted by health and school officials with further instructions.

All who are not contacted are asked to attend school as normal.

The Bert Edwards exposure is the only one presently relevant in the Kamloops-Thompson School District.
