Man wanted throughout Western Canada arrested in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A man wanted on warrants that extended through all of Western Canada was arrested in Kamloops Wednesday (Apr. 21).

RCMP say Rudy Gros Ventreboy, 43, calls Kamloops home but was wanted out of Calgary for failing to comply with a release order related to a sexual assault charge.

Kamloops RCMP tracked him down Wednesday, with the help of the Fugitive Return Program.

Ventreboy remains in custody as he awaits a trip back to Alberta to face his charges.
