Kamloops man wanted on Canada-wide warrant arrested in Surrey

KAMLOOPS — A man originally from Kamloops who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

Shane Anthony Jeurissen, 51, was arrested in Surrey Sunday (April 18) evening.

Jeurissen was released on a long-term supervision order less than a month ago, on March 23.

A warrant was issued after he allegedly breached conditions related to a long-term supervision order.

RCMP said Jeurissen has a long list of convictions for offences such as assault with a weapon and uttering threats — many out of Kamloops.
