Ex-cop Derek Chauvin found guilty of murder, manslaughter in death of George Floyd
MINNEAPOLIS — Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer, has been found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than nine minutes during an arrest on May 25, 2020.
The verdict comes on just the second day of jury deliberations.
