VICTORIA β€” The warm, sunny weather this week is already having an impact on waterways in the B.C. Interior.

The B.C. River Forecast Centre (BCRFC) has issued a high streamflow advisory for the entire Cariboo region. Waterways include the San Jose River, Baker Creek, Nazko River, West Road River and all tributaries around Williams Lake, Quesnel and Prince George.

In a bulletin issued Thursday morning (Apr. 15), the BCRFC says daytime temperatures in the region are expected to hit the low 20s on Friday and Saturday, with overnight lows rising as well.
