Blazers shut out Cougars, running away with lead in B.C. Division hub

KAMLOOPS — Dylan Garand earned his first shutout of the B.C. Division hub, although it was far from the most challenging one in his career.

Garand stopped all of 16 shots he faced with against Prince George, who dropped to 3-3-1-1, while the Blazers improve to 7-1.

Josh Pillar was the first star of the game on Wednesday night, scoring twice and adding an assist in the 5-0 win.

Caedan Bankier continued his hot streak against the Cougars, adding a goal and an assist. He has five points in three games against PG during the shortened season. Connor Zary and Orrin Centazzo each added two assists.
