RCMP come across stolen vehicle, sawed-off shotgun at Valleyview motel

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a stolen vehicle out of Surrey was recovered Tuesday (Apr. 13) at a Valleyview motel.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn says a member was on patrol at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when he spotted a vehicle reported stolen out of Surrey parked at the Country Motor Inn on Comazzetto Road.
No one was in the vehicle, but investigators linked it to one of the rooms in the motel.
Inside the room, police found a loaded, sawed-off shotgun, other firearms, suspected drugs and ammunition.
