SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Active cases of COVID-19 increased to 25 at Sun Peaks Resort on Tuesday (April 13).
The good news, however, from Mayor Al Raine is there were nearly 34 COVID-19 tests administered on Monday. Eight are awaiting results, but the other 26 have come back negative.
Raine confirmed that Interior Health won’t continue with on-site testing at Sun Peaks Resort after their one-day clinic on Monday. Anyone from Sun Peaks who’s showing COVID-19 symptoms and needs a test must travel to Kamloops.
On Monday, Interior Health said the situation was ‘fairly contained’.
