Sahali liquor store robbed, employees doused with bear spray
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are on the lookout for three suspects after a Sahali liquor store was robbed Wednesday night (Apr. 7).
In a news release, spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened at about 11:00 p.m. at a store in the 900-block of Columbia Street West.
Witnesses said two men and a woman walked into the store, grabbed 15-to-20 bottles of hard liquor and a box of alcoholic iced tea, sprayed tellers at the register with bear spray and fled.
Mounties and a police dog attended and found evidence at the scene but could not track the suspects down.
