Brush fire pops up on Tk’emlups Reserve

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) crews are on site of a brush fire along the North Thompson River on the Tk’emlups Reserve.

The fire was called in at about 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (Apr. 7) off Chilcotin Road.

Details are few, but KFR had a tough time accessing the fire to put it out.

The fire is throwing off a lot of smoke.
