TRU’s Trash Bash clean-up taking place mid-April, Kamloops residents encouraged to join
KAMLOOPS — Thompson Rivers University (TRU) and the City of Kamloops are encouraging the Kamloops community to join its spring cleaning.
The TRU Trash Bash focuses on picking up litter wherever in the community, beautifying Kamloops and protecting the Earth.
On April 15 and 16, people are asked to take a few moments to clean up litter and tidy their workplace, then on April 17 and 18, all Kamloops residents are encouraged to clean up trash wherever they want. Such as near their homes, streets, parks, and natural spaces.
The Trash Bash typically takes place in spring, although it was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was held in November.
