Media vehicle vandalized in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Donald Trump has left office but his legacy seems to have travelled all the way to Kamloops.

A CBC news vehicle parked at second and Lansdowne street in the downtown was vandalized over the weekend. The vehicle had graffiti on the side with the words “fake news” spraypainted on it. That was one of Trump’s favourite sayings when he would lash out at negative stories of himself.

Aside from the slogan, there appears to be white paint or something similar spread over the vehicle.

Pictures of the damage appeared on social media last night (Sunday). Police are likely to be checking security footage from nearby buildings. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
