Billie Eilish has confirmed that she was wearing a wig at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

Fans speculated that she had covered up her new bleach-blonde hairdo shortly after she revealed the new look. In a series of Instagram Stories over the weekend (April 3rd), she answered fan questions, including one about the wig. She followed up by saying that she covered her hair because it took so long to process it from black and green to platinum blonde.
