WHL changes B.C. Hub schedule, Blazers play Saturday against Royals
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers will play in Kelowna today (April 3).
Yesterday the Western Hockey League (WHL) announced new dates for four regular season games in the Kamloops and Kelowna hubs, two of which involve the Blazers.
Kamloops will be the “away” team against the Victoria Royals on Saturday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. in the Kelowna hub, a game that was originally scheduled on April 1. Meanwhile, the Blazers “road” game against the Giants originally set for today in the Kamloops hub has been postponed to Monday, April 5.
The WHL adjusted its B.C. schedule after multiple members of the Kelowna Rockets tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the league to cancel to shut down team activities for the Rockets for two weeks as of March 31.
