KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Blazers forward Logan Stankoven has been named to the National Under-18 team.
Team Canada will play at the U-18 World Championship in Texas April 26 to May 6.
With players self isolating starting April 12 and then again after the tournament is over, Stankoven will play the next four games, and then his Blazers season is effectively over, depending on rescheduling and if there are playoffs.
Regina Pats 15-year old phenom Connor Bedard, who currently leads the Western Hockey League in scoring, is also on the 25 player roster.
