RCMP swarm North Shore address Monday evening

KAMLOOPS — RCMP have flooded an address on the Kamloops North Shore Monday evening (Mar. 29).

According to a news release from spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn, the force’s Southeast District Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Targeted Enforcement Unit (TEU) have turned up in force at an address on 13th Street.

Details are few, but Evelyn says it’s not anticipated there is any danger to the public. Evelyn says the response is part of an ongoing investigation.

RCMP ask local residents to avoid the area and note traffic may be rerouted at points in the investigation.
