Act of kindness from Kamloops dollar store employee comes full circle
KAMLOOPS — A small act of kindness from an employee at a local dollar store has made quite an impact on a teacher at Valleyview Secondary.
Dina Chase keeps a collection of snacks in her classroom to tide over hungry students, and during a recent refill trip at a Kamloops dollar store, her bill was paid for by a stranger.
“It was such a small gesture but my heart was just — I just felt like crying,” Chase tells CFJC Today, “It was just somebody who noticed what myself and my colleagues are doing. And it really touched me.”
