We’re known for our rugged individualism, and for state pride, which we do have aplenty,” McConaughey shared during his on-stage introduction to the evening. “Whether you were born here, moved here, married in… or just came here for the bar-b-que, there is no such thing as a stranger in anyone we meet. QUEEN ELIZABETH ‘PUZZLED’ BY PRINCE CHARLES: Queen Elizabeth prefers the sex-scandal ridden Prince Andrew to Prince Charles, according to a new documentary airing in the U.K. In the program “Queen Elizabeth: Love, Honour and Crown,” from Britain’s Channel 4, author Clive Irving argues that the 94-year-old monarch “has never really understood” Charles, the heir to the UK throne. “To this day, she’s more openly affectionate to Andrew and more forgiving toward Andrew than she is towards Charles,” Irving, author of the new biography “The Last Queen,” says. Andrew is wanted for questioning by the FBI for his connections with the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. (Page Six)

Wallis Day will take over the role vacated by Ruby Rose. “Super excited to finally announce I’m joining the cast of Batwoman,” Day wrote on Instagram, alongside a screenshot of a report announcing the casting news. “I’m sure you can imagine how much this means to me and how incredible it’s been working on the show so far.” (ET)
