Three teams in the WHL Kamloops hub have had first COVID test

KAMLOOPS — The Prince George Cougars and Vancouver Giants have joined the Blazers in the Kamloops hub.

PG and Vancouver are sequestered away at the Sandman Signature Hotel, kitty corner to the Sandman Centre, while Blazers players will stay with their billets.

All three teams underwent their first COVID test on Sunday, and are back in quarantine.

Following another test Wednesday if all is clear teams will hit the ice for practice Thursday or Friday.
