TRU within reach of $50 million fundraising goal by March’s end

KAMLOOPS — Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is $1 million off its fundraising goal.

The TRU Limitless campaign launched in October, 2019, aiming to raise $50 million along with its 50^th anniversary. The campaign sits at $49 million and looks to raise the final $1 million by March 31, 2021.

Funding goes towards more scholarships and bursaries for students, providing research to solutions of social problems, enhancing campus space and equipment, and community relationships and services.

“It makes me proud and I hope all donors feel that sense of pride in TRU when they meet students and see the work they are doing,” TRU Limitless co-chair and donor Fiona Chan said. “That’s why I continue to be involved, and why I have supported Limitless.”
