City yard waste sites reopen

KAMLOOPS — The warm temperatures the past couple of days have already prompted residents to get out in the yard to start their spring lawn and garden work.
The City says its yard waste sites are open as of yesterday. The Cinnamon Ridge facility is open year round, but the waste sites at Bunker Road and Barnhartvale reopened yesterday.
The City also announced that because of the pandemic, cash payments for compost at the Cinnamon Ridge composting facility are no longer accepted. Pay by debit or credit card.
