Has B.C. Division been given the go ahead to return to play?
KAMLOOPS —- There is a report that the B.C. Division in the Western Hockey League has been approved to return to play.
The report broke from Richard Zussman, the legislative reporter for Global B.C., who says Health Minister Adrian Dix has said that the B.C. Division proposal has been approved in principle by provincial health, with some health authority issues still to be worked out.
We contacted Blazers President Don Moores who says he only knows what he has seen on social media, and is waiting to hear from the league.
Kelowna Rockets owner Bruce Hamilton, who is also the WHL Chairman of the Board, has told cfjctoday’s Global Kelowna affiliate that “he is now calling the commissioner to find out what is going on.”
