Employees assaulted in Williams Lake convenience store robbery

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in identifying two robbery suspects.

Last Saturday (Feb. 27), two men allegedly entered a convenience store, assaulted two employees and fled with cash and merchandise. Both employees received medical treatment and their injuries aren’t life threatening.

Police said the evidence suggested the suspects left on foot, although Mounties were unable to locate them.

Both men are described as Indigenous in their mid-20s. One was 5’6″ with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The other man was 6’0″ tall with a medium build, wearing black pants with a blue hoodie and a camouflage bag. Both were wearing masks.
