KAMLOOPS — Two huge wins for B.C.’s Corryn Brown yesterday at the Scotties in Calgary.
Wins over Tracy Fleury’s wildcard rink skipped by Chelsea Carey and later against Newfoundland have put Brown in a 4-way tie for third place in Pool B. She beat Carey 7-5 in the morning, then beat Newfoundland 10-1 last night, putting her record at 3-2.
She plays New Brunswick in her only match today.
Ontario’s Rachel Homan and defending champion Kerri Einarson remained unbeaten at 5-and-0 atop Pool A . They go head to head tomorrow.( Thursday)
