Community COVID-19 data shows decreased spread last week around Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — There is good news in the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) community-level COVID-19 map this week. None of the Local Health Areas (LHAs) surrounding Kamloops saw increasing spread.
For the week of Feb. 14 to 20, the BCCDC map shows 78 cases in the Kamloops area. While this is still the greatest number of cases in the region, it is down by 38 from the previous week.
In all other LHAs in the region, spread of the virus either decreased or remained at zero.
