COVID-19 exposure at Valleyview Secondary

KAMLOOPS — Valleyview Secondary School has been added to the Interior Health (IH) school exposure website.
IH says a COVID-19-positive individual was present four days last week — February 9 to 12.
There are three current school exposure events within the Kamloops-Thompson School District, all at secondary schools — Sa-Hali, SouthKam and Valleyview.
IH officials are working on contact tracing for the Valleyview outbreak. Those who were in direct contact will be notified and asked to self-isolate. All who are not notified are encouraged to attend school as normal.
