Coldest Night of the Year raising money for Men’s Sober Living Centre
KAMLOOPS — A fundraiser to help support an organization that looks after Kamloops’ homeless and hurting is set to take place in a virtual format Saturday (Feb. 20). The Coldest Night or the Year fundraiser is hosted by The Mustard Seed, raising money for community outreach.
Normally, fundraising teams would gather together to walk in support of the cause, but this year participants are asked to walk on their own or within their household groups.
There is a fundraising goal of $20,000, which has already been surpassed. Mustard Seed Managing Director Kelly Thomson says the funds will support the Men’s Sober Living Centre.
