All Kamloops COVID-19 outbreaks stable Wednesday

KAMLOOPS — All four COVID-19 outbreaks in Kamloops saw no growth Wednesday (Feb. 17).

According to Interior Health (IH), case counts at the four facilities all remained the same as Tuesday.

Royal Inland Hospital remains at 105 cases — 36 patients and 69 staff. IH says only 16 of those cases remain active. One death has been connected to the RIH outbreak.

At Gemstone Care Centre in Brocklehurst, there are 32 cases, with 24 residents and eight staff included. There are seven cases still active.
