Message written on dirty vehicle prompts call for information from 100 Mile House RCMP
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House want to know if any residents have had any unusual or threatening messages left on their vehicles lately.
According to a release, a local woman called RCMP on Tuesday (Feb. 9), complaining about a message that had been “written in the dirt on the back of her vehicle.” The woman told a responding officer that she had seen reports on social media that similar messages were used in relation to kidnappings.
The responding officer assured the woman of her safety.
Staff Sgt. Svend Nielsen says while this is an isolated report, RCMP want to know if anything similar has been experienced by others in the community.
