MARY WILSON DIES: A founding member of the iconic Supremes has died. Mary Wilson was 76. ET reports that she died suddenly and unexpectedly at home in Nevada. The cause of death was not released. Wilson rose to fame alongside Diana Ross and Florence Ballard and became one of the biggest musical acts of the 1960s, creating more than a dozen No. 1 hits. (ET)

PARIS HILTON TESTIFIES ABOUT SCHOOL: In testimony to the Utah Senate Judiciary Committee, Paris Hilton dubbed her experience as a teen at Utah’s Provo Canyon School hell on earth. She said: “I am an institutional abuse survivor and I speak today on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children currently in residential care facilities across the United States. For the past 20 years, I have had a recurring nightmare where I’m kidnapped in the middle of the night by two strangers, strip-searched and locked in a facility. I wish I could tell you that this haunting nightmare was just a dream, ​but it is not​.” She continued: “I was verbally, mentally and physically abused on a daily basis. I was cut off from the outside world and stripped of all my human rights. I was not allowed to be myself.” (Us)

In Magnolia Journal’s Spring issue, previewed in People, she writes about how an incident with her dad Jerry Stevens, made her rethink priorities. She told him she didn’t have time to watch a sunset: “It didn’t take me long to regret that moment. My dad is the most understanding person when it comes to my family time.
