KAMLOOPS — It’s back on the job for workers at the New Gold New Afton mine.
After an accident that took the life of Ray Rosenberg Monday, operations have resumed at the mine. A mudslide underground killed Rosenberg and sent two others to hospital.
The return to work, however, does not include underground work, but only work on the surface at the mill and with tailings operations. New Gold is continuing to work with the government to develop a plan to resume work underground.
