St. Ann’s Academy added to COVID-19 exposure list

KAMLOOPS — St. Ann’s Academy in Kamloops has been added to the Interior Health (IH) COVID-19 school exposure list.
According to IH, the exposure at St. Ann’s took place on Wednesday through Friday of last week, Jan. 27, 28 and 29. St. Ann’s has both elementary and secondary students, but the IH list does not specify which students were affected.
The private school joins eight schools in the Kamloops-Thompson School District currently impacted by exposures.
School and health officials are getting a hold of families of students who came in contact with the COVID-19-positive individual or individuals.
