Music News for Monday Feb 1
Sabrina Carpenter teased the music video for her single, “Skin” on Instagram Sunday (January 31st). According to the post the video will be available on her YouTube channel right before 1:40p.m. PT on Monday (February 1st). The song gained attention because fans speculated it was response to Olivia Rodrigo’s hit single “Drivers License,” due to rumors of a love triangle involving Rodrigo, Carpenter and Joshua Bassett – something Carpenter denied in an Instagram post last week.
The outfits worn by BTS in their “Dynamite” music video sold for more than $160,000 at an auction benefitting MusiCares. According to a press release, the collection brought in more than eight times the amount they were expected to.
Jessica Simpson finally got the last laugh over her famous flub involving Chicken of The Sea. The Today Show tweeted Friday (January 29th) that Subway is facing claims that its tuna sandwiches don’t actually contain any tuna. Simpson, who famously asked if Chicken of The Sea tuna was chicken or tuna on the show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, retweeted the headline with the comment, “It’s OK @SUBWAY. It IS confusing.”
