KAMLOOPS — Sa-Hali Secondary School has sent an email notice home to parents detailing the school’s fifth COVID-19 exposure in the past two weeks.

The letter from Principal Rachael Sdoutz says the exposure involves five members of the Sa-Hali community and covers all five days last week — January 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29.

Earlier Monday (Feb. 1), Superintendent Terry Sullivan told CFJC Today the Kamloops-Thompson School District is not aware of any transmission in schools and that most transmission is happening in the household or community settings.

Administrators were calling parents of students who were in direct contact with COVID-19-positive individuals Monday night, informing them that they need to self-isolate.
