RCMP, Kamloops Search and Rescue scour North Thompson after report of person in the river

EARLIER: Kamloops Search and Rescue and RCMP are searching the North Thompson River after the report of a person in the river Thursday night (Jan. 28).

Searchers were called to an area off Schubert Drive, opposite Arthur Hatton Elementary School Thursday.

They returned to the area Friday morning, with searchers aboard kayaks looking for the subject.
