Property damaged, intoxicated man arrested in Dufferin

KAMLOOPS — A high visibility arrest in a popular Dufferin shopping area was the result of a mischief call.

According to Cst. Crystal Evelyn of Kamloops RCMP, police were called to a mischief report in the 1400-block of Hillside Drive at about 9:17 Wednesday morning (Jan. 27), not far from the Canadian Tire store.

Some property was damaged at that location and officers arrested a suspect.

Evelyn says the man was given a court date and may face charges. He will be released when sober.
