WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Interior Health (IH) says a cluster of COVID-19 cases in the Williams Lake area has grown to 314 since January 1.
With 46 new cases reported as of Tuesday (Jan. 26), there are now 150 cases currently active.
The cluster was first declared last Wednesday (Jan. 20). In a news release issued Tuesday, IH says most of the spread of the virus in the Williams Lake area can be blamed on recent social events and gatherings.
IH reminds the public to keep socialization to immediate households, and that friends and extended family members should not be invited outside their own households.
