Water main break disrupts service to North Shuswap community
ANGLEMONT, B.C. — UPDATE: CSRD says the break has been repaired but it will take “some time” before the reservoir is refilled.
EARLIER: A major water main break has knocked out water service to a community in the North Shuswap.
According to the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) website, the water line broke in the community of Anglemont Tuesday morning (Jan. 26).
The CSRD says some users will be without water completely, with others finding their water pressure is reduced, as one of the system’s reservoirs has lower levels.
