RCMP find weapons after weekend arrest in Lower Sahali

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say they seized a stolen vehicle and various weapons in Lower Sahali over the weekend.
According to Cst. Crystal Evelyn, members of the local detachment’s Crime Reduction Unit were patrolling in the area of Greenstone Drive on Saturday (Jan. 16) when they came upon a stolen vehicle.
A man and two women were arrested after leaving the vehicle. One of the women had a taser, a BB gun and a knife on her possession, and those items were seized.
Kamloops resident Darcy Dean Anderson, 32, faces one count each of possession of stolen property under under $5,000 and driving while prohibited. He will remain in custody until a court appearance on January 28.
